Another uncle of mine, not on website.

FAZIO, Joseph

b. 3/1/1921 (NYC, New York)
d. 6/8/2001 ( Buried St. Joseph's, Hackensack)

U.S. Army
Enlisted:
9/24/1942
Released:
11/27/1945

Uncle Joe dropped out of 8th grade (most likely attending Broadway school) to go to work for his uncle in the painting contracting business.  Census shows that on 4/1/1935, he lived in Hackensack. 1940 Federal Census shows Joseph Fazio had moved to Bogota. Sometime just after World War II, the Fazio family had moved to 120 Louis St., Hackensack.
